Children are not the church of tomorrow, they are the church today!
Jesus instructed his disciples to let the children come to him. We understand this to mean that Jesus yearned to have a relationship with them. We believe our task is to create a safe and loving environment where children can meet Jesus, learn about him and fall deeply in love with him!
Creating a safe and loving environment:
- All of our leaders are background checked to ensure that your children are safe.
- The majority of our teachers have completed training through C.A.R.D (Center for Autism and Related Disabilities)
- Our teachers ensure that while children are in their care the rooms and environment are safe and comfortable.
- Our teachers understand that they are called to be “Jesus with skin on” for our youngest ones. Their words and actions are to express the love of Jesus to every child in their care.
Children are invited to meet Jesus, learn about him and fall deeply in love with him!
Sunday mornings at 9:30am children gather for a special time of worship and then break into Sunday School classes where they learn their Bible lessons through story, craft, music and games
Sunday evenings at 4:00pm we have designed a worship service to be intentionally inter-generational. Families are invited to bring their children of all ages into worship. Services are designed to be engaging on multiple levels.
Nursery Care for children 5 years old and younger is offered during the 9:30am service.
Wesley groups are small groups that focus on mutual accountability and support for discipleship. These groups have their roots firmly planted in the Wesleyan (Methodist) tradition. These groups are designed to help Christians grow in loving God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength and loving their neighbor as themselves. They are a proven and effective way of forming leaders in discipleship who in turn disciple others and help the congregation to live out its mission with Christ in the world.
