Children are not the church of tomorrow, they are the church today!
Jesus instructed his disciples to let the children come to him. We understand this to mean that Jesus yearned to have a relationship with them. We believe our task is to create a safe and loving environment where children can meet Jesus, learn about him and fall deeply in love with him!
Creating a safe and loving environment:
- All of our leaders are background checked to ensure that your children are safe.
- The majority of our teachers have completed training through C.A.R.D (Center for Autism and Related Disabilities)
- Our teachers ensure that while children are in their care the rooms and environment are safe and comfortable.
- Our teachers understand that they are called to be “Jesus with skin on” for our youngest ones. Their words and actions are to express the love of Jesus to every child in their care.
Children are invited to meet Jesus, learn about him and fall deeply in love with him!
Sunday mornings at 9:30am children gather for a special time of worship and then break into Sunday School classes where they learn their Bible lessons through story, craft, music and games.
Sunday mornings at 10:45am everyone is invited to a special time of learning and serving called Family on Mission. Come and discover how families can engage in God's mission to redeem humanity from all nations, tribes and tongues. Families will grow in their awareness of how we can be mindful of the poor, oppressed, marginalized and those who have never heard the good news of Jesus Christ. We encourage parents to stay and learn with their children, but they may drop off the children and participate in other Sunday School options.
Sunday evenings at 4:00pm we have designed a worship service to be intentionally inter-generational. Families are invited to bring their children of all ages into worship. Services are designed to be engaging on multiple levels.
Nursery Care for children 5 years old and younger is offered during the 9:30am service.
Psalm 22:30 - "Our children will also serve him. Future generations will hear about the wonders of the Lord."
