Family Promise

We partner with other churches in the Gainesville area in supporting Family Promise.  Family Promise helps families experiencing homelessness attain sustainable independence. Once a month we provide families with warm, home-cooked meals as part of their work.  To learn more about Family Promise please visit:

Hospice Attic

Hospice Attic is a consignment shop in our community that helps to support our local Hospice program. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of donated items go to support unfunded hospice care and programs in Gainesville. Throughout the week we have volunteers helping out in this very important ministry. For more information click here.

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical Christian organization that builds with people in need.

In Gainesville, local churches come together to work alongside families in our community in need of a home. Celebration puts together teams to help assist in this amazing ministry. You don’t need to be a professional builder to be part of this work, you simply need to be willing to give some of your time. For more information click here.

Respite nights

Every other month we offer free childcare for families that have children with special needs.  Our hope is to provide a safe place for the children to come and have fun while their parents/guardians get a time to renew themselves and their relationship.

Bread of the Mighty Food Bank

Throughout scripture the people of God are called upon to care for the poor and hungry. One way we do this at Celebration is by supporting our local food bank.

The Bread of the Mighty Food Bank (BMFB) was established in 1987 to serve the counties of Alachua, Lafayette, Levy, Dixie, and Gilchrist in North Central Florida. BMFB functions by acquiring, storing, and distributing food and basic essentials via the support of 130 plus agency partners and more than 800 community volunteers. These agencies include soup kitchens, food pantries, and shelters. The food bank also provides direct benevolent and emergency food assistance to those who are food insecure. For more information click here.

Every Wednesday at 10 am this group of crafters gather together at church   to share their talent, and their love of Jesus, with others.

All levels of artistic talent are invited to join this group. Together they design crafts to bless others. Some of their work goes to local nursing homes. The Heavenly Crafters host church wide bazaars and the funds raised help us to care for needs of church and community members.  In addition to these wonderful mission projects, the crafters often help with our children's ministry by providing costumes and props for their special events.

The Crafters are always looking for new crafts and new ways to bless others!
